Caramelized Chicken with Orange Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of chicken breast
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • black pepper to taste
  • oil
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 1/2 cup of barbecue
  • parsley to taste (optional)

Way of doing:

Place the chicken fillets in a container, then squeeze the lemon and mix.
Add the paprika, salt, garlic, black pepper and mix well.
After mixing well, set aside for 30 minutes.
In a pan add the olive oil, then the sugar, stir until golden.
When caramelized, add half of the chicken fillets and let it caramelize on both sides.
Then remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add another spoon of sugar, let it caramelize, then add the rest of the chicken fillets, letting it caramelize on both sides.
Place the rest of the chicken in the pan, then add the orange juice, stir to release the caramel from the bottom of the pan, then add the barbecue, spread well and cook until the sauce reduces.

Add the parsley and help yourself!
